Dominic R asked: I’m trying to draw anime faces. But I just can’t seem to get it right!
I love drawing the eyes but when I try to put a face to it it looks out of place or misshapen.
Can anyone give me tips on how to draw anime faces? Thanks

heehee, i have the same problem
the main points are the porportions of the features: such as the eyes being a bit to big for the head, or face turning out like a chibi
you can look at pictures of actual anime characters and kinda use it as a reference
may i suggest a tutorial:
that’s how i learned, so good luck!

Practice drawing someone else’s picture. It’s very hard to start learning how to draw by creating your own artwork, so just sketching a picture of someone else’s art is OK. Once you understand the basics, and the proportions, you will be better at drawing anime. Once you get the basics down, be sure to create your own style. Don’t make art too similar to other artists, so that you can stand-out and be original.
There are also a lot of books, websites, and videos about how to draw anime. Use google and you should get lots of great resources that will help you. I really recommend “How to draw manga” and “How to draw more manga” by Katy Koope. They helped my sister become a great manga artist, and her pictures start to look almost as good as Digital Quality pictures (but in pencil instead of digital colouring).

(do this lightly) well try drawing the face when you’ve done that look at it then if anything looks to big or to small then rub it out and keep changing it
all you have to do is practise soon you will will be able to draw anime face as easy as pie
remember don’t get stressed
